By providing a pen, a book and a school bag, Tens of thousands of epileptic children in Uganda will find access to Education
National statistics reveal a wide margin in accessing education between the epileptic and non epileptic children in Uganda. this has been attributed to many factors including, luck of scholastic materials, poverty in their families, and misconceptions about the sufferers of the disease.
Marcy’s Nest Foundation has spearheaded a campaign to reduce this by creating an impact through mobilizing different stake holders to provide necessary materials to have these children in school. the organization has also done advocacy and awareness programs with the district in order to eliminate stigma among student in schools.
